Amazing Prague!

Firstly let me apologise for not updating this blog as promised for a while but when one has a full time job it isn’t always easy to find the time.  I’ll be sure to blog again regularly from now on.

Anyway, moving on from my last post and my tour last year, which is now sadly going for 4 months later, the next city I visited was amazing Prague, or as they say in the Czech Republic, Praha!

What an incredible city to walk around it and Trafalgar gave us the best of it. Seeing it during the day as well as at dusk and at night and what a sight to behold!

I really enjoyed the city from the busy and hectic pace on Charles Bridge to a wonderful and delicious lunch cruise on the Vltava River and amazing time was had, oh and don’t forget the Beer. Prague, much like Munich is known for their beer and its absolutely delicious!

They have trams everywhere! Quite a sight to be held for a South African, we have no trams whatsoever!

The imposing St Vitus Cathedral is absolutely incredible to see with larger than life gargoyles guarding the corners of this great structure!

What an amazing city Prague is and should be on every discerning travelers #TravelBucketList.

I loved this city and it was worth every second walking through this beautiful and intriguing place. The weather was not great and was mostly cloudy, rainy and cool but I swear I hardly noticed. Whomever sees only the weather when visiting such an interesting city is surely missing out!

Anyway, hope you enjoyed this blog on the wonderful city that is Prague and I promise not to take this long for the next one, coming out soon.

Up next? My favourite city on this tour, the majestic city of Budapest, Hungary….

Until then,

Here’s another, now customary, travel quote courteousy of a ‘friend’ on Twitter:
